Allen J. Jantz, 91, retired farmer, died March 24 at Presbyterian Manor in Newton.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, Goessel. Burial will be at Alexanderwohl cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service.
He was born Jan. 31, 1917, to Jonas H. and Suzie (Wedel) Jantz in Tampa. On June 6, 1947, he was married to Salome Schmidt, who survives of the home.
He is also survived by a son, Gary and Norma Jantz of Topeka; a daughter, Greta Ann and Leon Salmans of Park City; brothers Harold Jantz of Elyria and Leo Jantz of McPherson; two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three great-great-grandchildren and one step- grandchild.
A memorial fund has been established with Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in care of Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main, Newton, KS 67114.
