?MARIAN E. ADRIAN, 95, a retired registered nurse and formerly of Hillsboro, died Nov. 28 in Salina. The family had a private service. Burial was at Roselawn Memorial Park at Salina.

She was born Nov. 30, 1918, to Robert M. and Amelia E. (Reitz) Bair at Navarre. On Aug. 11, 1940, she was married to Paul B. Adrian, who predeceased her in 2006.

Survivors include sons Pete and wife Maggie of Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Bob and wife Janet of Atchison; daughter Paula Wright and husband Wally Storey of Salina; four grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; step-relatives, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Church of the Cross United Methodist Church or the Salina Presbyterian Manor and sent in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, KS 67401.

?DORA (REIMER) FRANZ, 101, died Nov. 27 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel, with pastors Linda Ewert and Steve Schmidt officiating.

Burial will precede the service at 10 a.m. Dec. 3 at Alexanderwohl Cemetery near Goessel.

She was born March 4, 1913, to Abraham S. and Katharina Buller Reimer in McPherson County. On Jan. 17, 1938, she was married to Arnold Franz, who predeceased her Dec. 4, 1985.

Survivors include daughter Ilene Franz of Goessel; sisters Milda Reimer of Goessel, Linda Bartel and Lenora and husband Harold Woelk of Hillsboro and nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to Bethesda Home or Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 303 E. Main St., P.O. Box 96, Goessel, KS 67053.

? STEVEN EARL JANZEN, 63, of Florence, died Nov. 27.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 3 at Marion Presbyterian Church, 610 E. Lawrence St.

He was born Aug. 29, 1951, to Earl and Lucy (Sandwell) Janzen at Marion. After graduating from Peabody High School in 1970, he was married to Phoebe Ann Heyman, who survives.

Other survivors include his parents of Newton; sisters Marilyn and husband Ray Cook of Newton and Karen and husband Arlen Ewy of Wichita; daughters, Amy Zeller of Hutchinson, Amanda and husband Tyson Denton of Howard and Rachel and Drew Thalmann of Haven; son Steven and Jennifer Janzen of Hillsboro and 11 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke Hospital of Marion and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.
