Jackie Dean Freeborn, 73, of Florence, died on April 7, 2022, suddenly in Wichita after suffering a massive stroke.

He was born on March 29, 1949, in Florence to Ellis and Fronie (Scobee) Freeborn. He was first married to Mary Spencer. He married Connie Lee on July 11, 1982.
He is survived by his wife Connie of Florence; his sons Chad Freeborn of Phoenix City, Alabama, Chris Koop of McPherson and Chase Freeborn and his wife Becca of McPherson; a daughter-in-law Suzanne Koop of McPherson; his sisters Mary Lee Wineinger of Chanute and Ruth Hodges of Ponca City, OK; his 4 grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
