He was born on Oct. 8, 1958, in Council Grove to Donald and Rosie (Mayes) Bowman. He married Dena Tajchman on Feb. 26, 1982, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville.
Survivors include wife, Dena Bowman of Rural Lincolnville; sons, Aaron (Kasie) Bowman of Salina, Brooks (Becky) Beeton of Lincolnville; daughters, Amber Bowman of Salina, Ashlee (Jon) Herbel of Salina; brothers, Joe Bowman, Rick Bowman; sisters, Donita Cameron, Connie Osgood; step-sisters, Gloria Pontious, Alice Pontious; eight grandchildren.
