DEATH: Leona “Lee” Loepp Ratzlaff Koslowsky

Leona “Lee” Loepp Ratzlaff Koslowsky, 95, died on Jan. 12, 2024, at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

A Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at Parkview M.B. Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Dave Loewen.

Memorials can be made to Tabor College or Parkside Homes in care of Jost Funeral Home at P.O. Box 266 in Hillsboro, KS 67063.

She was born on Dec. 16, 1928, to Jacob and Marie Toews Loepp. On Aug. 25, 1949, Leona and Allen Ratzlaff were married. She married Pete Koslowsky on Aug. 7, 1994.

She is survived by daughter Aleen Ratzlaff and son Don and Gayla Ratzlaff, all of Hillsboro; daughter Jone and Jeff Lee of Olathe; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; step-children Ken (Carla) Koslowsky, Janice Willems, Mel (Donna) Koslowsky, Tom (Laurie) Koslowsky, and Myrna (Walt) Jost; seven step-grandchildren and their spouses; five step-great-grandchildren; sisters Helen Faul of Minnesota, and Velma and Junis Schroeder of Inman; along with a host of family and friends.
