Jane Makovec died on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The family will gather with friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen, where Rosary prayers will be offered at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday at the church led by Father Max Biltz. She will be laid to rest in Pilsen Cemetery.
Yazel Megli Funeral Home is serving the family.
Memorial contributions in Jane’s name may be directed to the Father Kapaun Legacy Fund.
She was born on June 14, 1922, in Pilsen to Adolph and Christina (Stika) Rudolph. She married Florian “Skeeter” Makovec on Aug. 30, 1943, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen, concelebrated by Father Emil Kapaun and Monsignor Skelnar.
She is survived by her three sons Ron Makovec of Lincolnville, Gail (Marissa) Makovec of Ramona and Allen (Louise) Makovec of Ramona; 12 grandchildren,14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
