Donald L. “Don” Berg, 83, Marion, died on Aug. 7, 2024, at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita following a brief illness.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2024, at the Marion Christian Church.
The inurnment will be in the Marion Cemetery.
A Memorial Fund has been established for Caring Hands Humane Society in care of Jost Funeral Home, PO Box 266, Hillsboro, KS, 67063.
He was born on Nov. 15, 1940, in Marion to Wilbur and Martha (Houdyshell) Berg. On September 23, 1961, he was united in marriage to Geraldine L. “Gerry” Herzet.
He is survived by his daughters and their spouses: Donna and Dennis Bernhardt; Brenda and Terry Edwards; his five grandchildren; his three step-grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one brother, Bob (Sue) Berg; and his ever faithful friend “Lady”.
