Jessi Weisbeck and Dan Kinning, both of Hillsboro, were named the winners of the second round of the local ?Biggest Loser? weight-loss contest sponsored by Greenhaw Pharmacy.
Results were determined by a a ?fit factor? that took into account percentage of weight loss and percentage of fat loss.
Competing in the women?s division, Weisbeck registered a fit factor of 26.5 and earned the $350 first-place prize as a result.
Kinning, who was the top male participant with a fit factor of 16.9, received $350 for winning the men?s division.
Since weighing in for the original contest in January, the Hillsboro police chief has lost 134 pounds.
Following Weisbeck in the women?s division were Cheryl Brandt 22.1 ($250), Amy Sum?mer?ville 14.3 ($150), Rhonda Benzikofer 12.0, Anjanette Vin?duska 10.5, Doris Maltbie 9.9, Becky Vannocker 9.6, Katherine Young 8.8, Kelly Schafers 8.6 and Darlene Bartel 8.0.
Following Kinning in the men?s division were Ed Svitak 13.0 ($250), Brad Vannocker 7.5 ($150).
According to program director Jeanne Rziha, 109 people weighed in to start the contest this summer.
Those listed above returned for the final weigh-in.
The next round of the local ?Biggest Loser? contest will begin with weigh-ins on Jan. 6 and 8.
