Tickets on sale Monday for HHS show, ‘Working’

Tickets go on sale Monday, Oct. 26, for the Hillsboro High School musical, ?Working,? which will be presented Nov. 12-14.

Based on Studs Terkel?s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, ?Working? paints a vivid portrait of the men and women who work at ordinary jobs the world so often takes for granted.

?It?s a highly original look at the American landscape that?s simply impossible to forget,? said Lynn Just, director.

The music, written by Stephen Schwartz and others, ranges from the slow jazz ?Lovin? Al? to the lively ?Cleaning Women.?

Twenty-one students make up the ensemble cast: seniors Kimberly Brown, Rochelle Cecil, Michael Christian, Heather Goldsby, Evan Just, Briana Loewen, Matt Richert, Manda Roble; juniors Cory Abbott, Dylan Delk, Hayley Pankratz, Jordan Riggs; sophomores Nick Ediger, Olivia Kliewer, Sammy Koons, Luke Moore; and freshmen Kale Arnold, Ashley Bartel, Tyler Burst, Erika Just, Rhonda Rogers.

Tickets for the show are $5 and can be purchased at the high school office or by calling 947-3991.
