As part of National Hospital Week, Hillsboro Community Hospital sponsored a barbecue for Chamber of Commerce members Thursday with donations going to help the HCH Relay for Life team. Wendy McCarty, a member of the Employee Enrichment Committee, said the group came up with different themes for each day last week, ranging from a breakfast of biscuits and gravy served to employees by Mike Ryan, chief executive officer, to ice cream days, favorite team day to pet owner photo contest. The week concluded ?Blue Day,? by inviting hospital staff to bring either a blue food or food on a blue plate for a potluck meal.
