David Zeiler (top photo, wearing light short-sleeved shirt) is surrounded by members of the Patriot Guard who organized a surprise sendoff for the Herington resident on Friday. Zeiler, a member of American Legion Post 366 in Hillsboro, will be leaving for his first tour of duty in Iraq. He was given a ?Support Our Troops? flag, a letter of appreciation and a challenge coin for good luck.
