Open house draws nearly 90 people

Almost 90 people attended the Marion Historical Museum open house Sunday, Nov. 29.

Several pickle ornaments were hidden in the museum for visitors to find and then enter in a drawing for door prizes.

The door prizes and winners were: Wreaths and pickle ornament: Lily Lundy (daughter of Bill and Micky Lundy), Chloe Burkholder (daughter of Kevin and Kris Burkholder), Bob Schmidt, and Janice Case.

The Lynne Watts family and Kathryn Lunderman each won some Marion Chamber Bucks.

Marion Elementary School first-graders made some ornaments to help decorate the tree that was on display.

Wanda Williams played Christmas musical selections on the old pump organ at various times throughout the afternoon while visitors enjoyed refreshments, visited and looked around the museum.
