Marion resident to celebrate 98 years

Sadie Bernhardt of Marion is celebrating her 98th birthday with an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.
She was a school teacher in surrounding country schools and later she and her husband, Albert, owned and operated Marion Hardware for 25 years.
