Local EMS crew sports a warmer look

Members of the Hillsboro Emergency Medical Services crew model the new cold-weather coats purchased for them by the City of Hillsboro. It was the first purchase of coats for EMS workers in 15 years, according to crew members. Pictured above are (standing from left) Rachel Pederson, Mike Wadkins, Sue Wadkins, Wes Crowe; seated is Delores Johnson. Also serving on the local team are Dick Carr, Misty Luthi, Wendy McCarty, Craig Roble, Jason Rooker, Gary Slater and Danita Unrau. The 13 coats were purchased through Western Associates in Marion for $845 plus the cost of identification embrodery.
