Fund-raiser pickup set for March 31

Pickup for the Red Wheel fund-raiser by the Hillsboro High School freshman class has changed to 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 30, in the HHS Commons.

Shin-Hee Chin to speak at guild

Country Stitchers Quilt Guild will be meeting at 7 p.m. April 2 at United Methodist Church in Hillsboro.

The speaker will be Shin-Hee Chin, art instructor from Tabor and Hesston colleges. She will present her work in fiber arts.

Card shower for Jim Schmidt

Greenhaw Pharmacy of Hillsboro requests a card shower for Jim Schmidt, who has retired after 14 years with the pharmacy.

Cards may be sent to him at 616 S. Lincoln, Hillsboro KS 67063.

Veterans? rep plans Marion visit

Veterans service representative Ken Morris of the Kansas Commision on Veterans? Affairs will visit the Marion County Health Department from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, and Tuesday, April 17.
