Flint Hills Counterpoint is offering another amazing arts-infused tour of Marion County. Explore the edible plants and wildflowers of Marion County on a bus tour with Aubrey Streit Krug and David Van Tassel of the Salina Land Institute, and Marilyn Jones of Marion County.
The group will stop at Watchhorn Corner, Indian Guide, and Marilyn Jones’ homestead. Learn about the unique and beautiful plants of Marion County, enjoy tasty samples of edible plants, listen to Aubrey Streit Krug’s poetry, and enjoy music by Susan Mayo, cello, and Elizabeth Wallace, fiddle, along the way.
Some walking will be involved, so good walking shoes and a hat are suggested. This is a rain or shine event.
Buses will leave from the Historic Peabody City Park on W. 2nd Street & Locust Street in Peabody.
Sign in from 9:00-9:45 am. The group will leave the park at 10 a.m. and return at 1 p.m.
