Two blood drives planned for August
The American Red Cross is planning two blood drives in Marion County during August.
The first will be 1-6 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Hillsboro United Methodist Church, 905 E. D St.
The second will be 2-6 p.m. Aug. 27 at Goessel Mennonite Church, 109 S. Church St.
The American Red Cross continues to have an urgent need for blood donors of all blood types to give before the Labor Day holiday. Donors with types O negative, B negative and A negative blood are especially needed.

Arts fair seeking food providers
The Hillsboro Arts & Crafts Fair Association is inviting inquiries from individuals and groups interested in raising money through food sales at the Arts & Craft Fair Sept. 20.
The Kaffee Haus in the city building will again be offering quality baked goods for sale to fairgoers.
Spaces are available to persons and groups at no cost, and 100 percent of the proceeds are retained by the provider.

Marion bowling group to meet
The Marion USBC Bowl?ing Association is planning a kickoff meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 25 at SherBowl Lanes in Marion.
