2S2S collecting items for school year
2nd Saturday 2 Serve is having their 2nd Annual Smiles and Soles for Jesus!
Everyone’s talking about school already and we have families that could use our help! We have a specific list this year, from the people that work directly with our kids.
Items needed, for both boys and girls:
◼ Shoes, size 13 up to adult sizes, new or gently used.
◼ New Socks, size 13 up to adult sizes. (We ran out of adult sizes for boys last year.)
◼ New Underwear, size 5 up to adult small.
◼ School sized Backpacks, new or gently used.
We will be collecting items at Hillsboro Public Library, USD 410 District office and Hillsboro MB Church through August 16 (the Friday before school starts).
If you would like to contribute dollars for us to shop, message us on Facebook or contact Krista Heinrichs, 877.0638.
Please consider donating as you can, we want all kids to have what they need to be their best selves.

Alternative offered for Durham Cafe
Many of us will miss the Durham Cafe. Not just the great food, but as a place to get together and enjoy good conversation.
Your friends at the Durham Baptist Church have a desire to help fill that void by opening up our fellowship hall on Monday and Wednesday mornings 7-9:30 a.m. and providing breakfast items (coffee and tea along with coffee cake, cookies, cinnamon rolls, etc). No charge but donations accepted.
The good times begin from 7-9:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug 12. We hope to see you there.
