Family seeks card shower for 90th

The family of Milford Brandt of Goessel requests a card shower in celebration of his 90th birthday.

He was born Dec. 28 in Marion County. He has two daughters, Kathie and Jim Wills of Lafayette, Colo., and Patsy and Ron Dirksen of Goessel; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Blood drive Dec. 30 at Goessel church

The city of Goessel is having a community blood drive from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 30 at the Mennonite Church, 190 S. Church, said Bev Kerbs, donor recruitment representative.
