Members of the Senior Citizens of Marion County Board of Directors observed a ?Hoodie-Hoo Day? ritual after their business meeting in Hillsboro on Friday. According to Hoodie-Hoo tradition, at high noon (local time) citizens are asked to go outdoors and yell ?Hoodie-Hoo? to chase away winter and make ready for spring. The Feb. 20 celebration falls at the midway point between the two seasons.
