Country Stitchers to meet at HMBC
The Country Stitchers Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, in the Hearth Room at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe.
The program will include a visual trunk show from Sisters, Ore., and Paducah, Ky.
Those planning to attend are asked to use the south entrance.
Visitors are welcome.
Bible study set for Jan. 8 in Hillsboro
A community Bible study will begin Jan. 8 in the Hearth Room at Hills?boro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe. The time of the event will be announced in next week?s issue.
The study is by David Jeremiah, and called ?Discovering the Mysteries of Heaven.?
A study guide is available for $11. There is no book, but a Bible is required.
Annual Chamber dinner set Jan. 26
The annual dinner of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce and Marion Chamber of Commerce is planned for Jan. 26 at Marion.
