for Kleiber?s 90th

The family of Leona Kleiber is hosting an open house in honor of her 90th birthday from 1:30-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Tampa Senior Center, 100 Main St.

Her children are Cindy and Terry Vin?duska of Marion, Lynn and Peggy Kleiber of Salina and Becky and Dean Routh of Augusta. She has 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

She was born Oct. 1, 1925, to Adolph and Anna (Ottens?meier) Bentz near Tampa. On June 9, 1946, she was married to John Kleiber at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Tampa.

They were married 481?2 years before he died in 1994.

She has lived in the Tampa area most of her life. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a teacher and worked at Farmer?s Alliance Insurance Co., McPherson.
