Events to mark Regier?s 100th
The family of Ferne Regier, former resident of Marion, is planning an open house and card shower in celebration of her 100th birthday Dec. 29.
She was born in Agricola in 1913. After graduating from Marion High School, she worked as a telephone operator before marrying Leo Regier (deceased) on Nov. 24, 1940, in Marion.
In her spare time, she has enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting.
Regier has three daughters, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to join her for an open house in the Chanti?cleer dining room at Cedar Lake Village, 15329 S. Lone Elm Road, Olathe, from 3-5 p.m. Dec. 29.
