Open house for Janzen birthday
Gladys Esther (Leppke) Jan?zen will be celebrating her 98th birthday with an open house from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at Salem Home in Hillsboro.
She was born Aug. 17, 1915, to Frank and Anna Leppke on the family farm south of Marion. On Aug. 25, 1937, she was married to Irvin R. Janzen, who is deceased.
She has a son, Ralph W. Jan?zen and Charlene of Hills?boro, as well as three grandsons and five great-grandchildren.
