Eric and Tami Driggers of Hillsboro announce the birth of their daughter, Austyn Lynn Driggers, born Thursday, Oct. 2 at Newton Medical Center.

She weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces, and was 19.5 inches long.

She was welcomed home by her sister, Rylie, 2.

Paternal grandparents are Darrell and Charlene Driggers of Hillsboro. Maternal grandparents are KayDon and Cindy Jons of Bonesteel, S.D.

Great-grandparents are Alice and Bert Jost of Hillsboro.

Caleb Wiebe

Wayne and Loralee Wiebe, currently in West Africa, announce the birth of their son, Caleb Scott, on Wednesday, Oct. 15 in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa.

He weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Welcoming him home are two brothers Rosa Alan, 5, and Landon Todd, 3.

Grandparents are Clayton and Betty Rose Wiebe of Durham and Ron and Lydia Toews of Sexsmith, Alberta.

His great-grandmother is Helen Wiebe of Moundridge.

Ryan and Amber Rector of Coal Valley, Ill., announce the birth of their first child, Cailyn Trinity, on Tuesday, Sept. 23.

She weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Bernie and Lisa Ronnebaum of Seneca and Kirby and Kathy Rector of Hillsboro.

Great-grandparents are Floyd and Aileen Miller of Hillsboro; Joan Madsen of Hiawatha and Alfred Buser and Eleanor Ronnebaum of Seneca.

Lance and Kaylin Thiessen of Peabody announce the birth of their son, Daniel Loren Thiessen, born Sept. 25 at Newton Medical Center in Newton. He weighed 8 pounds 15.2 ounces and was 20 inches in length.

He was welcomed home by his brothers and sisters: Benjamin, 10; Michael, 8; Peter 6; Esther, 4, and John, 2.

Paternal grandparents are Orval and Agnes Thiessen of Peabody. Maternal grandparents are Paul and Rosella Funk of Inman. Great-grandmother is Katherine Fast of Lynden, Wash.
