Lucas Sorensen

Wade and Tania Sorensen of Hillsboro announce the birth of their son, Lucas Clark, born Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Newton Medical Center in Newton.

He weighed 8 pounds and was 20 1⁄4 inches long. He has one brother, Sam, 2.

Grandparents are Gary and Terri Penner of Hillsboro and Mike and Sharon Sorensen of Durham.

Great-grandparents are Lynn and Elva Penner and Mary Hoffner, all of Hillsboro; the late Karl Sorensen and Jackie Sorensen of Nelsen, Neb., and Thelma Kobilan of Hillsboro.

Jeremy and Dionne Loewen of St. George announce the birth of their son, Jaeten Cale, born at 10:13 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.

He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 21 inches long.

Grandparents are Charles and Mary Loewen and Clyde and Sharon Jost, all of Hillsboro. Great-grandparents are Bert and Alice Jost, also of Hillsboro.
