Carrie Soukup and Wesley Cantrell-Paulson of Austin, Texas, announce the birth of their son, Alexander Lucas Soukup, born Friday, May 24, at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center in Austin.

He weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces and was 151⁄2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Terry and Luanne Soukup of Goessel. Paternal grandparents are Jon Paulson and Korey Cantrell of Sioux City, Iowa.
