Marion couple plan to celebrate 70th

EnseyAnnivThe children of Thomas Cranford and Lila (Lindley) Ensey are requesting a card shower in honor of their parent?s 70th wedding anniversary.
They met at Central Christian College in McPherson and were married on Sept. 12, 1944, in Houston, Texas, while T.C. Ensey was in medical school.
After graduating from Baylor University?s Medical School in 1947, he completed his internship in 1948 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
The couple moved to Marion in 1949 where T.C. was a family physician for 33 years until his retirement in 1982.
After retirement, they moved to Shell Knob, Mo., and then back to McPherson in 1989. They have been living in the Marion Assisted Living since September 2011.
Their children include Lowell Ensey of Bel Aire, Larry Ensey and wife Melanie (Hett) of Marion and Dean and wife Joanne (Turner) Ensey of Erie, Pa. They also have eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
