Plenert?s 60th anniversary Oct. 15
A 60th-anniversary card shower is requested for Abe and Janice Plenert, married Oct. 15, 1950, in Hillsboro.
They have resided in Kansas, Colorado and Montana. In retirement, they most recently co-owned and operated a KOA campground in Dillon, Mont.
Their children are Karen Sleeth of Winston, Mo.; Jack and Cindy Plenert of Dillon, Mont.; Ron and Nancy Plenert of Goessel; and Debbie and Blake Miller of Wichita.
They have 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two sons, David and Jim Plenert, are deceased.
A family celebration is planned for November.

Marion couple celebrate 60 years
Louis and Sarah Stika are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.
They were married Oct. 17, 1950, at St. John?s Catholic Church in Pilsen. They are the parents of Rita Tomlinson and Janet Marler.
