Hieberts celebrate 50th anniversary

HiebertMerlin&Velma50thAnni.jpg Merlin and Velma (Schroeder) Hiebert of Goessel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary May 28.

The couple married in 1958 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church near Goessel.

They spent two years in IW Service, working at Evanston (Ill.) Hospital, and currently reside on a dairy farm north of Goessel.

Children are Sanday and Steve Banman, Myron and Ann Hiebert and Lynell and Vickie Hiebert. Grandchildren are Allison and Craig Banman, Garrett Weston and Lucus Hiebert and Brian, Ashley and Kendall Hiebert.

 


Don & Jeanie Krebs celebrate 45 years

DonJeanKrebsNow.jpgDonJeanKrebsWedding.jpg Don and Jeanie Krebs of Scott City will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary June 15. A celebration with family is planned.

Don and the former Jeanie Rector were married June 15, 1963, in Scott City.

Their children and their spouses are Andy and Donna Krebs of Fairland, Okla., Matt and Judy Krebs of Istog, Kosova, Dan and Angie Krebs of Bel Aire, Brad and Anna Berg of McPherson, Keith and Beth Schobert of Denton, Texas, and Will and Abi Goertzen of Lawrence.

Don and Jean have 10 grandchildren.

Kesslers mark 50th anniversary

Gerald and Joyce Kessler celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception on May 24.

Honored guests were Joyce?s parents, Isaac and Helen Theissen, formerly of Lehigh, who share the same anniversary date of June 9. This year the Theissens marked 73 years. The Theissens currently reside at Parkside Homes.

 

Hamms reschedule 25th celebration

Duane and Shirley Hamm will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. June 14 at the First Baptist Church in Durham.

Their reception was initally planned for March 29, but had to be canceled because of illness.

Please no gifts.
