Regiers plan to celebrate 50th
Arnold and Edith Regier of Marion will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at the Kirby House in Abilene.
Arnold Regier and Edith Vogt were married Aug. 2, 1957, in Enid, Okla.
They have three children, Greg and Shelley Regier of Marion, Carol and Ernie Sweat of Wichita, Beth and David McKee of Derby; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Burns couple marks 60th anniversary
Ivan and Margaret Morgan of Burns will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Burns Community Center in Burns.
Ivan and the former Margaret Bishoff were married Aug. 28, 1947, in El Dorado. They are retired farmers and school bus drivers.
Their children and spouses are Mike and Beverly Morgan of Burns, Larry and Delores Morgan of Hesston, Richard and Kristi Morgan of Moundridge, and Rodney and Robin Morgan, also of Burns. They have nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
