Ramona couple to celebrate 50th
Robert and Carol (Reznicek) Makovec are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 26.
The couple were married Oct. 26, 1963, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Pilsen. They have resided near Ramona in Marion County for the majority of their married life.
Their five children include Darren (Amy ) Makovec of Lost Springs, Colleen (Randy) Klug, Mark Makovec and Robyn (Troy) Heitfield, all of Herington, and Jennifer (Paul) Forrester of Salina.
They also have 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
A family dinner is planned at Brookville Hotel in Abilene to celebrate the occasion.
