Smith’s to celebrate
60th anniversary
The children of Royal and Mary (Sangwin) Smith of Marion request a card shower for their parents 60th wedding anniversary on June 2.
They were married June 2, 1957, at the Methodist church at White City.
Family will be at Eastmoor United Methodist Church Sunday, May 28, to honor this anniversary.

Eugene and Marge Christensen of Marion celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary May 19 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church.
Marion couple
celebrate 50th year
Martin and Margaret (Delk) Tice are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
They were married May 28, 1967, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church at Hillsboro.
Martin taught math and science in Wichita, was principal at Florence and Marion and provided accounting and tax work at Thies, Tice and Associates. He finished his career as business manager at USD 408.
Margaret was a nurse at Wesley Hospital, St. Luke Hospital and McPherson Hospital.
Since retirement, they enjoy traveling and following family, especially their grandchildren.
They have three children to include Brace and wife Angela Tice of Thompson Station, Tenn., Greg and wife Dena Tice of Colwich and Lori and husband Daron Bennett of Overland Park.
They also have 10 grandchildren.
A family celebration will be from June 30 to July 5 at Georgetown, Colo.
