Galva couple celebrate 60 years
Arlie and Norma (Patrick) Holm of Galva are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary and family members are requesting a card shower.
The couple were married May 25, 1949, at the Lutheran Parsonage in Marquette. Arlie is a farmer and retired dairy man, designer and builder of wood-burning stoves. Norma is a homemaker.
They have six children: RLou Wilson, Tom and Beverly Johnson and Robert and Cathy Holm, all of Galva, Bradley Holm of Gypsum and Ronald and Carol Holm and Bryan Holm, all of McPherson; 19 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Family celebration planned for 60th
Bert and Alice (Hodel) Jost were married June 3, 1949, at the Hillsboro Mennonite Church.
They have lived all their married life on a farm north of Hillsboro. They farmed and had a dairy for many years.
The couple have four children: Charlene and Darrell Driggers of Hillsboro, Keith and Cheryl Jost of rural Hillsboro, Clara and Curtis Frick of Durham and Clyde and Sharon Jost of rural Hillsboro. They also have 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
They will be celebrating their anniversary with family.
