Matz couple to mark 75 years
Raymond R. Matz and Eunice (Janzen) Matz will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary June 22.
They were married June 22, 1946, in Hillsboro, and have lived in Hillsboro all their lives.
Raymond was owner of Matz Upholstery for 61 years and a rural mail carrier.
Eunice was a high school secretary for USD 410 for 26 years. She later served at the Hillsboro Senior Center for 15 years.
The couple have three sons: Rick and wife Ruth of Wichita, Ray and wife Pat of Olathe and Reg of Hillsboro; a daughter, Eydie and husband Mike Fellows of Newton; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
