Deran and Sharon Siebert of Hillsboro are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary July 10 with family and friends at Olde Town in Hillsboro.
The couple married July 9, 1966, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion with pastor Gilbert officiating.
Deran is employed by Hay and Forage Industries in Hesston, and has been for 52 years. He has also been a farmer for 58 years.
Sharon owned her own salon for 39 years and worked at Salem Home and Parkside Homes for 27 years as a beautician for the residents. She has worked in cosmetology for 42 years, retiring in March 2008.
Their children include Tom and Tawnya Siebert and Todd and Shawna Vogt, all of Hillsboro, and Jeff and Jennifer Kreutziger of Olathe.
Grandchildren include Jordyn, Justin and Joshua Siebert; Taylor, Braden and Lauryn Vogt and Reid and Harper Kreutziger.
