Marion couple celebrates 50 years

Bill and Elaine (Winter) Stoltenberg of Marion were married Dec. 31, 1960, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wichita. The couple lived in Westminster, Colo., until 1966.

He worked at Leajet for 13 years and then went to Boeing Aircraft in 1980 They then moved to Marion in 1983.

He retired from Boeing in 1991 and his wife taught ceramics for many years.

In retirement, they have traveled and enjoy their grandchildren and friends.

The family has planned a 50th wedding anniversary dinner ifor them at Brookville Hotel in Abilene.

The couple have two children, David, who is deceased, and daughter Cheryl and Jay Christensen. They also have two grandchildren.
