Arlin and Maretta Britsch BullerBullers mark 50th anniversary

Arlin and Maretta Britsch Buller of North Newton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married July 24, 1966, at Zion Men­non­ite Church, Arch­bold, Ohio. For their 50th anniversary, the couple and their immediate family celebrated in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The celebration was at 11:11 p.m. July 24.

The couple spent 34 years in Colorado. They enjoyed two years of volunteer teaching at Frontier Boys Village in Divide, one year of graduate school at Western State College in Gunnison ad 31 years teaching and other employment in Salida, Colo.

They have been in North Newton since the fall of 2003.

Their daughter, Andrea and husband Jason Golden of New Paris, Ind., have one grandson named Carson.

Don and Marilyn (Eitzen) Ratzlaff were married Aug. 20, 1966, at Collins­ville, Okla.

The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary earlier this summer with their children, spouses and 16 grandchildren at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.

Their children include Tamara and Ed Burns of Bastrop, Texas; Kristin and Matt Kennedy of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Monica and Chris Redman of Olathe; Brenda and Vernon Pyles of Sugar Land, Texas; Bri of Hillsboro and Brandon and Afton Ratzlaff of Olathe.
