Anniversary event planned for Redgers
Gene and Jaraine Redger will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a ?come and go? celebration from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 20, at the Newton Recreation Center, 415 N. Poplar, Newton.
The couple were married Aug. 23, 1951, at Roxbury High School in Roxbury. Jaraine is retired from USD?373-Newton Public Schools in food service. They farm in rural Tampa.
The anniversary celebration is being hosted by their children and their families.
