Wiebe named director emeritus of Hillsboro Museums

?With members of the Hillsboro Museums Advisory Board standing behind him, David Wiebe (seated) holds the framed proclamation naming him director emeritus of Hillsboro Museums. The presentation was made last week at a celebration at Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit, where Wiebe was celebrating his 78th birthday. Wiebe was director of the local museums from 1985 until 2003. Standing behind him are (from left) Mary Regier, Anita Boese, Willie Ensz, current museums dirrector Stan Harder and Evan Yoder.
