Rob Wasinger (standing), Republican candidate for Congress in the first district of Kansas, visits with potential voters last Wednesday at Little Pleasures Coffee House in Hillsboro. Wasinger was in town as part of his ?Rob?s for Jobs? Tour, which outlines his plan to revitalize the rural economy. Wasinger, a fourth-generation Kansan and native of Hays, is a former staff member to then-State Senate Majority Leader Jerry Moran, Gov. Bill Graves and most recently as chief-of-staff to Sen. Sam Brownback. Wasinger lives in Cottonwood Falls with his wife, Meghan, and their nine children.
