State poster winner plants tree with governor  As the last event for being the statewide winner of the Arbor Day Poster Contest, Hillsboro Elementary School fifth-grader Malorie Hein and her family traveled to Topeka April 21 as guests of the Kansas Arbor Day Association Board to meet Gov. Sam Brownback. After introductions and photos in his office, the governor came outside to help Malorie plant a tree in front of the Kansas State Capitol building.
