About 40 people attended the sixth annual Women?s Health Night Nov. 8 at Parkside Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro. Organizers said participation was down from last year. Marissa Javier of Little Pleasures Coffeehouse in Hillsboro gave a presentation on sushi; Cody Panzer, local chiropractor, discussed acupuncture; Laurie Methvin, nurse practitioner, talked about women and stress, Jeanie Rziha presented therapeutic shoes. The winner of the $100 in Hillsboro bucks was Marilyn Bartel. Sponsors included Greenhaw Pharmacy, Hillsboro Community Hospital, Parkside Homes and Parkview Church serving snacks and refreshments.
