Reznicek inducted into state fairs and festival’s hall of fame

Reznicek32.jpg Longtime Marion resident John F. Reznicek, who died Jan. 16, 2008, was honored at the Kansas Fairs and Festivals convention January 9-10 at the Ramada Inn in Topeka. Reznicek, a longtime member of the Marion County Fair Association, serving as secretary/treasurer, also served on the KFF board and was president of the organization in 2005. The Friday evening session of the convention was dedicated in Reznicek's honor and included a PowerPoint presentation with pictures of his family and friends. The following evening he was inducted into the organization?s Hall of Fame. Family and friends attending the banquet were his widow, Helen Reznicek of Marion, Carol and Bob Makovec of Ramona, Mary and Charlie Loewen of Hillsboro, Tom Reznicek of Lawrence, Ken and Deb Reznicek of Burlington, Ed and Mary Fund Reznicek of Goff, Mike and Judy Cooper of Galva, and Kay Ray of Topeka.
