Mike Engelbrecht of Whitewater shows off the flathead catfish he caught Sunday, Oct. 10, at Marion Reservoir. The fish measured 44 inches and weighed 47.5 pounds. Engelbrecht came into Canada Bait N Tackle after checking and removing fish from his trotline at 9:30 a.m. His catch also included wipers, one of which measured 23 inches and weighed 6 pounds, channel catfish and a white bass. He said he had never in his life caught this many fish, or fish of this size.
