On August 19, Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church was recognized by Operation Christmas Child for ten years of service as a Shoebox Gift drop off location. Over the past ten years the church has collected 10,562 shoebox gifts that were distributed to children in over 160 countries around the world with the greatest needs. Many of these children are victims of war, famine & poverty, and often the shoebox is the first Christmas gift they’ve ever received.
