Marion County Democrats met on July 9 in the Florentine Masonic Hall in Florence. County Chair Eileen Sieger conducted the business meeting.
Agenda items included working at the state fair, the new Facebook page, Primary election Aug. 2, contributions to candidates and the group reorganization meeting following either the primary or general election.
Retired judge Michael Powers talked about bow judges are selected and proposed changes to the process.

The Aug. 13 meeting will be held in Peabody with the site to be announced.
