Masons honor achievers at supper

MasonsSauble.jpg Pat Sauble (center) of rural Cedar Point receives his 65-year membership pin and certificate with Advance Lodge 114 at Florence during the lodge?s annual awards supper. Presenting the certificate is Sterling Hornbuckle, grandmaster of Masons in Kansas. Harvey Wells, lodge treasurer, participated in the presentation. Also receiving recognition were Don Parish of rural Burns for being a 50-year member, and Bea Holub, a senior at Marion High School, who won the lodge?s essay contest and received a $100 savings bond for her affirmative essay on the theme, ?Do Positive Role Models Exist in Today?s Society?? About 40 Masons and guests attended the event.
