The next goal is to raise the remaining $30,000 by the end of February. Bricks ($50) and stones ($125) for the park are still available for sale to individuals and businesses to help raise the money.
Individuals and businesses can also sponsor one of the extras included in the original proposal. If so, they will be recognized as the sponsor of that piece of equipment.
The committee is looking for sponsors for the following pieces of equipment:

four-piece bug spring toys (includes lady bug, caterpillar, snail and grasshopper), $3,000;

triple chute slide split, $4,000;

360-inch tube slide, $3,500;

ladder and tire climber, $1,500;
-
ladder and clover climber, $1,500;
-
ladder/deep-rung arch climber, $1,600;
-
rock wall, $1,700;
-
zig-zag balance beam, $300;
-
free-standing track ride, $2,000;
-
belt swings with chains (six), $400 (swingsets sold separately);
Anyone wishing to see the equipment can stop by the Marion City Office. The items will be sponsored on a first-come, first-served basis.
