Marion 4-H attends church, raises flag

The Happy Hustlers 4-H Club celebrated 4-H Sunday on Nov 3. Members and their families attended the worship service at the Marion Christian Church. Following church, a potluck meal was served. 19 members, 5 leaders, and 10 parents attended the monthly meeting following lunch. Music leader, Sara Groening, led members in “The Beaver Song”. Recreation leader, Noah Schmidt led members in a game of Heads or Tails. The 4-H Achievement Banquet was also that night at 6:00 at the Marion Community Center. Next month’s meeting will be held on Dec 2. Meet at 6 p.m. at the Marion Community Center. We will go Christmas Caroling at 6:30 p.m. and have a meeting at 7 p.m. Raising the flag at football Members of the Marion County Happy Hustlers 4-H club helped raise the flag at the Marion High School football game Friday night.
